Nuisance Wildlife Control Officer Joins Nature’s Way

To meet the growing demand for wildlife pest control in the Glens Falls NY region, Nature’s Way has hired Austin Zweck to manage our Nuisance Wildlife Division. As a New York State Licensed Nuisance Wildlife Control Operator, Austin will be responsible for trapping and removing squirrels, skunks, raccoons, bats and other unwanted pests in and around area homes and businesses.

Based out of Glens Falls NY, Austin will provide professional nuisance wildlife removal and management in Lake George, Chestertown, Saratoga, Clifton Park, Albany and neighboring communities within a 50-mile radius of the Nature’s Way headquarters.

Meet Austin Zweck

Austin began hunting and fishing as a boy, and was first introduced to trapping at 12 years old. Over the years, he gained valuable experience trapping and removing raccoons, skunks, opossum, woodchucks, chipmunks, squirrels, beavers and muskrats. “At a young age I learned that, in order to understand the animals you are trapping, you have to think like them,” says Austin. “When trapping and removing animals I pay close attention to the welfare of the animal and take pride in the work that I do.”

His passion for wildlife and the outdoors grew into a career, and Austin graduated from SUNY Cobleskill with a Bachelor’s Degree in Wildlife Management. While enrolled, Austin gained hands-on experience studying wildlife techniques, damage management, mammology and more. As a licensed Nuisance Wildlife Control Operator (NWCO), Austin has the skills and experience needed to safely and effectively remove wildlife from area homes and businesses, and he continues to hone his knowledge by regularly attending trapping conventions and seminars.
